Ensō Vintage

Ensō Vintage is one of the most beloved vintage boutiques of Amsterdam and a fixed destination for lovers of sustainable fashion. The shop, located on the Elandsgracht, was founded in 2019 by Andrea and Liseth from the conviction that style and sustainability go together perfectly. Instead of a traditional vintage shop, you find here a carefully curated collection of high-quality vintage clothing, hand-selected designer pieces and an own upcycled collection. In the studio in Amsterdam, existing garments are given a second life by redesigning them into unique creations. The minimalist shop and the timeless collection attract both fashion lovers and visitors looking for special clothing with a story.
Where does the name come from?
The name Ensō refers to the Japanese Zen symbol of a circle drawn with a single brushstroke. This symbol stands for simplicity, harmony, infinity and the beauty of imperfection. That philosophy ties in seamlessly with the vision of the shop: giving existing clothing a new life and combating waste.
Fun fact
Besides carefully selected vintage clothing, Ensō also designs its own upcycled collection. Old shirts, blazers and other vintage garments are completely redesigned in the Amsterdam studio. As a result, each garment is unique – no single item is exactly the same.
