House of Rituals

House of Rituals is the impressive flagship store of the Dutch lifestyle brand Rituals, located in the monumental Afrikahuis on the Spui. Since its opening in 2020, in honour of the 20th anniversary of Rituals, it has been much more than a shop. Spread over four floors you find exclusive Rituals collections, luxury home accessories, a Mind Oasis for meditation and relaxation, a Body Spa, a café and culinary hotspots such as Madaq. The concept revolves entirely around the philosophy of Rituals: The Art of Soulful Living. This has made House of Rituals a special place where shopping, wellness and gastronomy come together under one roof.
Where does the name come from?
The name House of Rituals refers to a ‘house’ in which all parts of the Rituals brand come together. Instead of a traditional shop, it is a total experience in which visitors get to know the world of Rituals: from care products and interiors to relaxation, mindfulness and culinary experiences. It is literally the ‘home’ of the brand.
Fun fact
House of Rituals is housed in the historic Afrikahuis, a monumental building from 1892, designed by architect Eduard Cuypers. The building was completely restored before Rituals opened its flagship store there. In this way one of the most striking buildings on the Spui was given a new life as one of the largest and most special Rituals shops in the world.
